Steen Rasmussen and Michael Wikke teamed up at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation back in the 80'es.
Shortly after they formed their own production company, Graested Film & Television
- taking it's somewhat strange and not very easily pronounced name from a small childhood village in Denmark.

As a producer/writer/director team they have written, directed, produced and often played leading roles
in their film, radio and television series.

Wikke & Rasmussen have produced award winning satire for television,
bringing home honours from many countries including one from the TV Festival at Montreux for their "Soren Kierkegaard Roadshow".

Their feature film debut "Russian Pizza Blues" (1992), won the first prize at the Göteborg  and Mannheim Film Festivals.
"Flying Granny" (2001), won the Children's Jury Award
at Lübeck and their latest feature film "Skymaster" (2006) have won several prizes both in Denmark and in the rest of the world including Japan, U.S.A and Canada.

Their television work includes several hit series as well as the first version of the famous Danish author
Svend Åge Madsens science fiction drama "Se dagens lys".
They have also made several radio drama series and their work as film directors
include both a four-in-one-Shakespeare-adaptation called "Motello" as well as
"Russian Pizza Blues", "Flying Granny", "Hannibal & Jerry" and "Skymaster".

Their 25 episode prime-time tv-series from 2012 (re-broadcastet in 2019) tv-drama "Julestjerner" / "Christmas stars".
written and directed for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, DR. And was a big success.
WIKKE&RASMUSSEN's latest feature film "Gooseboy" won a "Robert" award (Danish Acadamy award)
and they received a "Bodil" lifetime award in 2020 for their work.
